Installation Instructions:
- Cut material to shape: leather, canvas, fabric, cork, etc.
- If using multiple pieces of material we recommend sewing together first.
- Apply glue to purse frame channel, insert material and let dry. Use a strong adhesive such as Barge All Purpose Cement, epoxy, or other super glues that can bond different types of materials together.
- With pliers (we recommend 'slip-joint pliers'), crimp the metal frame at a few locations from the inside opening of the frame, not from the outside. Locations: 1) The base of the legs near the hinge. 2) At bend of the legs, or if a round frame about halfway up from the base. Do not crimp excessively along the frame or with too much force as it can distort the frame. If using serrated pliers cover the pliers with a piece of fabric or leather to avoid marring the frame.
