Works great on XBOX

I'd readily recommend this to anyone who needs to pop a drive into an enclosure and plug it into a USB port. Happens to me all the time. Pro: I bought a 4TB NVME SSD drive and popped it in this. Plugged it into my XBOX USB port, formatted the drive and loaded it up. It's quick and it works well. Then I had to use it to get some files off the wife's old NVME SSD. I'll buy another soon. Con:The only con is it had a little rubber widget to hold the drive in place. I ended up using a screw that went into the plastic instead. Those rubber things make it tool less. But, I prefer it to be in there nice and snug.

Best option for m.2 to usb-c

Perfect. Exactly what I needed Pro: Assuming you buy a compatible SSD, this works fast and it's solidly built. Comes with thermal pads that adhere to the SSD only, allowing you to take off the case and swap SSDs around without messing up the thermal pads. I got 500mb/s with a crucial CT500P3SSD8 that stayed around 55c under synthetic load. Uses rubber toolless inserts instead of an m.2 screw, and it comes with a few spares. Comes with a cable that's cheap and short but full speed. Con:There's vent holes in the sides, which would help cooling but it allows dust and water to get to the SSD with practically no resistance. I'd prefer it without these vent holes, although that might make it impractical to use without the included thermal pads. I imagine it would be pretty easy to weatherproof this with silicone or epoxy if it was needed.

Very compatible!

I would recommend this product and I would totally buy another if I was rich enough. Pro: First, this thing is very durable and made very well. Second, it works with both Linux and Windows 10. On top of that, it comes with rubber padding and posts to keep your SSD secure. This thing is very fast and works very well with both 2280 and 2230 M.2 SSDs. And for the price, I have no clue how the world Rosewill makes money! Seriously, this was an excellent deal! Currently the 512GB SSD that was left over after upgrading my laptop to 1TB SSD is being used as a fast external hard drive for transferring files to other people. Con:I cannot think of any cons. It's cheap, durable, works, and is very compatible. Put a 1TB SSD 2280 type in this thing and you have an insanely fast external hard drive.
