This is a great wheelchair. I dont like the lead acid battery but found a lithium ion on the site that should fit perfect. This'll take about 15lbs off the total weight. The VA gave me a $3500 wheelchair that is lighter (10lbs), slower, narrower, noisier, and not all-terrain, like this one. To me, this is a much better deal. I can take this chair across my yard with ease. The controller on this chair is more responsive than the expensive one too. It's a little wider than that one too but then, at 250 lbs, I need something wider. lol This chair came in a few days, arrived earlier(Fri) than promised/expected(Mon). No assembly, just remove packing, place joystick and battery, charge and go. I volunteer at an animal shelter 3-4 hours a day. The initial charge took 3 hours and lasted 4 days at the shelter, then 3 more charge hours and good to go. Charging every other day should be sufficient for most people. So far, the only issues that I've encountered is that, 1. it has a tendency to creep when just sitting still for a longer time, especially when I'm folding towels at the shelter. But turning off the chair or setting the manual brake solves that. 2. It's too tall when folded and more difficult to load. It has to be strapped down to keep from falling over on corners. 3. You must remove the battery (about 20 lbs) to fold it. That's all i have for now. I hope it helps as I do recommend this chair.

I bought this one and another one but a different brand. This one worked far better returning the other one maybe for another one of these if I can’t find something.
