I live in Tennessee and it's not too thick or thin for our weather. I love the cut and shape of the coat. I read on another review that it ran large, nope. This coat was a true fit and I had to return it to get a larger size. The feel and the color is wonderful for the price.

Beautiful Jacket- better than expected. This jacket arrived meticulously wrapped and secured in a zip plastic bag. Even the buttons were individually wrapped. I love everything about this coat. It did fit a little loosely, so I ordered one size smaller. My jacket goes to my knee- which is longer than picture shows. I like longer jackets so that suits me well. Great quality- very happy with purchase!
