I have been making my own liquid laundry detergent for nearly 20 years, and Mule Team Borax is an essential ingredient in that detergent. Although borax is notorious for becoming rock-hard when stored poorly and exposed to moisture, every box of Mule Team I have purchased from Walmart has arrived in dry, powdered, pourable condition. Great product.

When our family decided to take a closer look at the chemicals affecting our bodies, our dishwasher pods quickly fell out of favor. Making our own dishwasher detergent is simple and effective! Thanks Walmart for carrying the age old staple “borax” along with the other 3 ingredients (washing soda, citric acid and kosher salt) we use to help keep our dishes clean!

To kill fleas etc, sprinkle it in your carpet, work it in a little and leave it for at least 2 hours before vacuuming. Repeat after 2 weeks. I was recommended this by a pest control expert and it works! Also good in laundry. Use less detergent but add Borax and your laundry will be cleaner, brighter and softer.
