This Duck tape, along with a metal coat hanger, plus string; is what use to keep cars running on the road. I heard some use it to seal-up ducts for heat or A/C. Am certian of this; if you can find a house-hold that doesn't have a roll of duct tape, you're gonns see a lot of broken/useless things.
