I am highly satisfied with the Sugar In The Raw Turbinado Cane Sugar (32 oz); the quality is excellent, offering a deep, natural sweetness and a hint of molasses that refined sugars simply can't match. Getting this at such a great price from Walmart made it a fantastic value, and the quick and easy delivery meant I didn't have to hunt through aisles for my favorite sweetener. While this larger box is perfect for baking, I also appreciate the convenience of the brand's smaller formats for travel. The coarse, golden crystals provide excellent portion control when sprinkling over oatmeal or muffins, though it's important to note that because of their size, they melt and dissolve much slower in cold liquids compared to hot coffee or tea.

I was introduced to this brand in New York back in 1973. At the time my parents were delving into a more natural diet. I wanted to sweeten my oatmeal, and the only sugar in the house was "Raw" sugar. Well, I was dubious at first (and pregnant) but I thought it would taste like the regular "brown " sugar. Well to my surprise, the taste landed and is still a mainstay in my diet 52 years later!! My coffee is not right without it!! The crunchiness is addictive, the taste is warm, and I have been pleased to find it in some restaurants!! I purchase both the free-flowing and the packets, which come in handy if I am on a road trip.
