Cook thoroughly before consuming.Saucepan:Bring 1-1/2 cups water and 1/4 cup (4 tbsp.) margarine or butter* to boil in medium saucepan.Stir in stuffing mix; cover.Remove from heat.Let stand 5 min.Fluff with fork.Microwave:Combine stuffing mix, 1-1/2 cups hot water and 1/4 cup (4 tbsp.) cut-up margarine or butter* in microwaveable bowl; cover.Microwave on high 5 to 6 min. or until heated through.Fluff with fork.Microwave ovens vary. Cooking time is approximate.*Decrease margarine or butter measure to 2 tbsp if desired.In-the-bird:Size of bird: up to 8 lbs ... 8 to 12 lbs ... 12 to 20 lb.6 oz. Pouches: 1 ... 2 ... 3.Prepare stuffing as directed on package.Stuff bird lightly with prepared stuffing. Very delicious product !!
I prefer not all that sodium so I just love it. I don't cook with salt at all. I usually use black pepper and garlic and herb Mrs. Dash on all my foods. So having low sodium Stove top Stuffing is a plus for me. It is good. I just wish they would make more low sodium flavors. Like corn bread and put the season package back in by itself like it used to be.

So much better than too much salt!
This low sodium version is our favorite. It still has plenty of a salt flavor without drowning your food in sodium. By the time I got a chicken casserole made it was overloaded in salt. Now I'm using low sodium chicken broth, low sodium Stove Top stuffing, and low sodium cream of chicken. The casserole turns out perfect now!!!

I've always loved this stuffing, but now there is much less to the box and each package. I know it shows that the weight by volume is the same, but that's impossible. Its shrinkflation like everything else. Don't get me wrong, I'll still buy this because it's good, I'm just not happy about less is more with everything.
