For best results, apply in the spring or fall when air temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 80°F. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. Do not use weed control products until your lawn has been mowed at least 4 times. This seed is great for growing in poor soil to help stop erosion. It sprouts in 5–6 days if watered properly. It grew on 4”of concrete sand followed by fertilizer.
