Great gluten free bread for kid sandwiches

As the mom of a child with PKU, I'm psyched with Walmart's assortment of both gluten free %26 vegan products. We've tried many different types of GF bread…and quite a few have a chewy texture. This bread actually tastes like “real” sourdough…and can be eaten without toasting/warming-even if it's been in the fridge! That is my only complaint (aside from it being a bit pricey, esp at other stores!)-both the Schar sourdough bread %26 the hot dog buns will mold fairly quickly if not refrigerated after opening. If I know my daughter isn't going to take a sandwich to school every day (fall break, etc), I'll open the loaf and freeze 1/2 of it. Otherwise I'll move it the fridge if I know it's going to get used. Overall a great gluten free product (Schar pizza shells are great too!)

This is the best overall gluten free bread I have found! This in my wife and my opinion is the best tasting Schar bread! Unfortunately, Walmart seems to have honed in on what we buy and stops carrying them as I think we're over a dozen items now! Have to order it, but have to wait until cooler temps as they've left the bread in the sun in SOUTH TEXAS in the summer heat!! No bueno!!
