Good filter/bubbler for Nano/1to 3 gallon tanks

perfect for an additional filtration in small tanks ( 1 to 3 gallons) The bubbler is a welcome addition. Small tanks are MUCH more difficult to keep than larger tanks, I dont think id would use JUST this filter alone. , though. I keep dwarf African frogs in this tank, they produce a large bio-load, so i have a regular -in- tank filter to remove waste. Making sure to not overcrowd the tank is VITAL. If you have just one Betta, or 2 or 3 smallfish, this would probably be the only filter you need. Super easy set up/install. Gentle flow ,so slower moving creatures can still swim and be comfortable. I like it for my specific application.

This filter is perfect for my 5.5 gallon tanks. I discovered these filters when I was starting out with a Betta in a bowl. I use a lot of live plants, so I can't say how clear your water would be with just plastic plants. You can easily hide these filters behind the plants. For a 10 gallon I would suggest 2, one at each end. My only complaint is the hoses some times vibrates off. I have quite a few, and not all of them do that. Just maybe 2 of them. I think it depends what kind of surface you have the pump on.

good idea but some issues

at first i thought what a great little filter. however, the filter keeps coming unstuck from the glass and the check valve didnt stay on. we had to just put the filter higher than the fish tank in case of power outages. it also is really powerful for such a small filter so it splashes water everywhere. i had to put netting on the tops of my tanks to stop the splashing. i also got a regulator to reduce the amount of air going through and that helped the splashing as well.
