The hook was quick and easy to install with the included directions; a drill, with 1/8th and 5/8th bits, is required. I installed the hook in the ceiling and I'm using it to hang a plant which weighs about 20 lbs. The hook seems very stable and could hold more weight if needed. I wanted this in black but couldnt get one sme day so decided to settle for white to hang a vegetable/fruit basket in my kitchen. This worked out. It is sturdy and super easy to hang because they include a screw anchor if you drill into a stud and if not then they supply a hollow wall anchor. All good.
