(2 pack) Musselman's Apple Butter, 17 oz Jar

I haven't got enough words in my vocabulary to say how much I enjoyed this Apple Butter. It is so very tasty that it brought back a childhood memory of my Mom serving it with Potato Pancakes. Oh yum-yum. It's tasty and smooth and it will be a staple in my house forever.

This apple butter comes in a 17 oz. jar and it is labeled a Homestyle taste. It has no sodium, zero fat, no cholesterol, and only 6 grams of sugar. It does have a homestyle consistancy and also a home made taste to it. When you open the jar for the first time, it smells similar to an apple pie. This apple butter is creamy and when scooping it out of the jar, it is a rather thick mixture and does not run off of your spoon. Although it is rather thick in nature, it is also very creamy, smooth, and I would say it is very tasty. I thought that it may have a bit of a gritty texture, but it doesn't. I kind of expected a sort of ho hum taste when I selected it. It is a great complement to your morning toast. I added a little butter to my toast and then spread on this apple butter. I believe the next time that I will skip the butter and go straight to the apple butter itself. Musselman's Apple Butter, you do win the taste test!
