I received this item on time. It's very easy to install. It took me about 5 minutes. This door lock is exactly what was described in the ad. It's only good for the laundry room, bathroom or a work cabinet that you need to secure in your home. The key is flat and does not have any grooves in it, therefore other keys or an object similar to a butter knife will unlock these doorknobs, so be careful. If you need to lock up valuables then you need to purchase a different lock. These locks are not heavy duy, however they do meet my needs because I just wanted to lock my laundryroom door and a storage closet that's inside of my home. This lock is ok if you need to lock up things from small children. It's not adequate if you need to secure expensive items, money, jewelry, guns, knives, etc. The description about these door locks is not misleading. I would purchase this basic lock again if needed.
