Wow, do these work great!!! I close in my small screened porch (for my kitties) in winter with king-size sherpa lined quilts/spreads, which I staple up. Works better than anything I've tried through the years, the porch stays toasty warm with a little circulating oil heater. These quilts are quite large, given the sherpa lining. I usually throw them away in spring, but since it's getting harder to find them at low prices, I decided to launder %26 save them. You can see how large they are in the bedroom floor %26 on the bed. That was hard enough, now how to store them! After reading many reviews, I got these jumbo vac bags. Since my vac hose barely covered the valve, I was afraid it wouldn't work, but it worked very well! You can see how the quilts shrunk down under the vac pressure. Hefty's smaller bags, which I also bought for other items, have valves that don't need to be turned after vacuuming the bag -- these do need to be turned, but no air escaped while I was doing that. The bags are very tough. I'll either put them in my attic or shed, till next winter when I'll need them again. I am SO pleased with these bags -- far more so than I'd expected!! Would highly recommend for any project needing vacuum shrink bags!!
