Essenhaus Egg Noodles are an original recipe from the world-famous kitchen of Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury, Indiana. Das Dutchman Essenhaus has become the largest restaurant in Indiana. Essenhaus noodles are made the old-fashioned way and are the foundation of many authentic Amish stews and soups! We use the time-tested process of sheeting, cutting and drying just like our grandmothers have done for years. Unlike pasta from an extruder, Essenhaus noodles are hearty and full of rich delicious flavor. There is nothing that says "comfort" like Amish cooking, and nothing that says "Amish cooking" better than Essenhaus noodles.

Hob - From Ambient - Bring 3 1/2 quarts of water (or broth) to a boil. Add 16 oz. of noodles and return to a boil. Lower heat and simmer until desired tenderness (12-20) minutes depending on the size of the noodle.
