(2 pack) Bruce's Yams Cut Sweet Potatoes in Syrup, Canned Vegetables, 40 oz

These sweet potatoes are just so good. They're already sweet. You don't have to add any brown sugar to them. If you want you can bring them just a little put some butter put your marshmallows. Stick them in the oven and let them bake for a few second minutes till the marshmallows, milk and butter of course but they are so good cold hot. I don't care how you use it. They're good.

The 40oz can of Bruce's Yams works well for me when I make a casserole of yams and ham. I butter my Corning French White 8" deep casserole then put in the drained yams with chunks of butter. I add brown sugar and a splash of maple syrup to the juice from the yams and warm it up on the stove until it combines and thickens. I pour the thicken sauce over the yams, add a few slices of ham on top, cover the casserole and cook for about 30 minutes, then turn off the oven and take off the lid and let it stay in the oven for another 10 minutes. Pair this up with some asparagus, or peas or corn, a salad and dinner rolls and you have a wonderful autumn meal.
