(2 pack) Bella Sun Luci Premium California Julienne-Cut Sun Dried Tomatoes, 3 oz

Wanted to make a sun-dried tomato pesto and didn't want the seasoning that always comes with sun-dried tomatoes in jars. The tomatoes were moist, but I soaked them by pouring boiling water over just to cover, then when cool made a pesto in the food processor with the package of tomatoes, soaking liquid included, a ittle over a cup of toasted slivered almonds, a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil, a clove of garlic, and some basil and a lot of mint from my garden. Added salt and pepper to taste, (maybe half a tsp of salt) and served with pasta, using some of the pasta cooking water to thin when tossing. Topped with parmesan cheese when serving. My only suggestion to Walmart would be to list aisle placement on the website, as some other stores do. I looked near dried fruits and near canned tomatoes and couldn't find this twice (maybe another shopper interfered with my view, or the front of the package wasn't showing), so I ordered it shipped to home, even though I'm in the store often.

I'm so glad that they offer these! This is so much easier than dealing with the oily jar full of tomatoes that you have to squeeze the oil out of. Yuck.
