Everybody, this is a quiet, powerful pump that stays much cooler than my previous pump I had (it has a cooling fan integrated into design). It is a very affordable option so I got the 3 year protection plan with it . I don't have to worry about pumps for a while!

Good pump get pvc fittings for your plumbing
The pump even at 1725 rpm barely creates vacuum at the skimmer but skims. Its either to much power or not enough. Really quiet on low setting. 35,000 gallon pool. The fittings for the plumbing don't like pvc glue. The black pvc fitting melts with pvc glue and of course blew off because the fitting is compromised. See photos. Had to purchase (really hard to find a comparable fitting) also tried to sand smooth after i removed it but still wouldn't seal and still melted again. actual pvc should enable this machine to do its job
