worked as expected and I was able to complete an urgent task right away. just remember to load staples with the gun upside down after you've released the spring tensioner. I should also mention that to remove the stapler from the packaging first remove the very small screw securing the plastic clamp after removing the plastic zip tie.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality I've definitely put it through the ringer. I will say it is not small hand, friendly. That was a learning curve. If you have small hands, it can be a little hard to maneuver overall, it has a really strong. I really like the notch that it has in the front so you can guide instead of a guessing game of lining up where the staples are go overall happy with it.
