Good gloves for a novice DIY'r

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these a month ago for a DIY flooring replacement. Now before anyone shames me, I've been trying to better my house and can't afford all the nice tools and stuff. I make do with what I have. I'm not a professional tradesman but I'm pretty handy. These gloves stopped me from getting splinters from the subfloor I laid down and from getting zapped every now and then from my handed down Jigsaw. Also they've held up pretty good with my sander. For what it's worth, they also had pretty good grip with my drill. Now mine is older and looks nothing like the newer ones but I would assume they would behave the same. Hands didn't overheat or anything and were comfortable while working. Now it's October in Iowa so I'm not sure how hot they would be in summer but I would assume not too bad. Hope this helps anyone.
