Owner/Operator

I have been using the TurboMax bits for the last three years. I purchased a set with various sizes to use on a project at home.I started doing retrofit on structures that required drilling lots of holes in mild steel. They last longer and drill faster than any other brand I have tried. The only bit I use for work is 1/2", the retailers in my area sell only the sets. I keep buying the complete set because it is still a better deal for me than buying anybody elses single bit.

Best bits I have found

I started using these bits 15 years ago on many types of commercial metals and processes and I also use them for most of my private home projects. I have used these bits with excellent results with even drilling stainless. I found I could drill multiple 1/2" holes through 5/16" structural steel with a 14.4v battery drill with one battery charge. The only drawback with these bits is when someone decides they need a smaller pilot hole then use the larger bit, that one gets trashed. Some people don't listen. I have bought several sets of these drill bits for good friends of mine for there personal use. they are a little more expensive than standard twist bits but well worth the extra cost.
