Stouffer’s Macaroni and Cheese Meal, Supreme Shells and Cheese, Three Cheese Sauce, Boxed Mac and Cheese Pasta Dinner Kit, 12 oz

I kind of liked these but they are incredibly high in sodium. 1 serving has over 1100 grams of sodium 47% of your daily recommendation! Strangely enough they didn't taste salty, maybe because I didn't salt the pasta water. The shells are really really thin and I didn't notice it when I dropped them in the water and I cooked them the normal time I cook pasta and they came out super soft and mushy which is my fault I should have paid more attention. If you buy these watch the cooking time they cook up quickly. The cheese sauce has a nice flavor, it's very cheese but it's like super thick and I didn't even drain my pasta very well hoping that would loosen up the cheese sauce but it didn't. I'd suggest having some milk or water ready to loosen it up because it was super thick. I also added chunks of ham along with onions and peppers which made it taste pretty dang good. I would buy it again if the salt content wasn't so heavy. Good Grief Stouffers cut back on the salt! YIKES! If you don't have any health issues and salt consumption isn't a problem for you then you will probably like this. I think 1 package is good for 3 or 4 people as a side dish. If you add some chicken or ham or other meat and maybe some veggies you can get 2 filling meals out of this so it's a good price for what you get.

I was really let down by Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese Supreme Shells. The pasta came out mushy, and the cheese sauce tasted bland and oddly artificial. I expected something rich and comforting, but it ended up being heavy without much real flavor. For the price, I thought it would be a step up from basic frozen mac and cheese, but it didn't come close. Unfortunately, this meal just didn't deliver, and I wouldn't buy it again.
