Pretty disappointing!

Removing this item from it's package, I was struck by it's overall appearance! It's a really pretty piece of aluminum; not a scratch or mar, machined and drilled edges are nicely deburred and I was really impressed...until I tried to put it on! Four of the six boltholes plus the two dowel holes were off location by a progressively increasing amount from top to bottom. The bottom two holes were off by half their diameter. Yes, I could have wallowed out each hole and "made" it fit...but for 80 bucks, I was unwilling to do that and I returned it. Poor quality control!
