All the units we recieved were returns from previous customers. Some were not functioning perfectly but since we needed for a given date we took the time to fix it and once installed we had no issues. But they were inferior quality to some other blinds I had purchased in Amazon at a much greater price. If you do get them brand new I will recommend them for the value. Cheaper than Amazon. But if they send you returns you need to untangle it, clean them etc.
