  • Loosen the top 2–3 inches of soil and remove weeds, rocks, and debris. Level the ground so the seeds can spread evenly. Because Zoysia Emerald grass seeds are very tiny, spread them evenly over the soil surface. Do not bury them deeply.
  • Gently rake the soil or add a very thin layer of soil or mulch (about 1/8 inch). This helps keep moisture around the seeds. Mist or lightly water the area after planting. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged during germination.
  • Zoysia grass grows best in warm temperatures (around 70–90°F / 21–32°C) with full sun.Seeds typically germinate in 14–21 days under the right conditions.Once the grass starts growing, reduce watering slightly and mow when the lawn reaches about 2–3 inches tall.

Not Zoysia grass seed

Was not zoysia grass seed. Received a large grass seed. Did not look like the Zoysia I've bought in the past. Looked more like fescue. I ordered two 1/2 lbs packages. What I got was a single unlabeled plastic bag with 11 ounces of seed in it. So wrong seed and shorted on the amount. Do not buy from this supplier.
