This is an impressive humidifier. It is a large unit that easily covers a good-sized room. The base measures about 7 inches across, it stands about 12 inches high, and it features a very large water capacity. This is our first ultrasonic humidifier, and we were amazed by how quickly it works. It produces fine mist almost immediately after you turn it on. We love that the mist is cool rather than hot. The unit is also incredibly quiet, and we cannot hear it running at all. Operating it is simple, and it offers three distinct output levels. The highest setting puts out a large amount of mist. You can also adjust the target humidity level and the sensor is built right into the power cord. For safety, it automatically shuts off whenever it runs out of water. Another nice bonus feature is the nightlight setting, which gently changes the color of the water inside the tank. The product arrived well packed and is very easy to separate and clean. Our only minor complaint is that emptying the remaining water can be a bit awkward. If you try to pour it out from the tank, some water tends to spill out of the sides, though it is not a major issue. Overall, this humidifier is well made, runs quietly, and puts out a great stream of vapor. I definitely recommend it.
