The item arrived today, ahead of schedule, which is always nice! This lamp was purchased as a gift for my girlfriend who loves snails and has been itching for a Tiffany style lamp. Unfortunately this is not quite that. The lamp itself is still quite cute, but it’s far from the photos advertising it. Instead of the stained glass or even a stained glass substitute, the item is just molded to resemble a Tiffany style lamp, and has been painted over instead. It’s cute, but leaves a lot to be desired if you’re hoping for the semi-translucent glassy finish of a Tiffany lamp. This item will not cast panes of color around your room, but it does have a nice warm light to it. It’s cute, and while my girlfriend appreciates the thought and sentiment behind this item as a gift, it does leave a bit to be desired if you’re looking for what’s shown in the pictures.
