I looked at similar ones at Amazon, including this same HomeDemo 13x8.2 awning and bought it from Walmart only because it would be easier to return, just in case. But I like it a lot. For $250 it may be $30-40 more than others but I picked this one because it was not white or black but a nice color closer to a matte bronze between black and brown and matched my decking and railings perfectly. Not a big deal as the fabric color is what is mainly seen but still. The quality seemed top notch, extremely heavy and no way could one person hold it overhead to mount it. I expect it to last a long time, as long as is not up during a windstorm. The fabric will be the first to wear out and it has a sleeve sewn on each end that a flexible rod slides into, so if the fabric needs replacing a simple sleeve could be sewed/hemmed into the new one (same for the short piece that hangs straight down, it is has a sleeve and a rod in it as well). Installation is a bit tedious. I'm pretty mechanical and just the assembly took several hours. It takes a while to install, be sure to watch the installation video AND the very detailed multi-page manual that comes with it. Between the 2 it is not too bad but takes a while. As they describe, do NOT cut the strap on each folding retracting tensioned arm until it it is completely installed onto your wall, because it is tensioned and is awkward and could even knock you off your ladder. A tip: The distance specified from the end of the square tube to where the folding retracting arms is bolted on is completely wrong in the printed manual, but is correct in the installation video. This controls the gap to leave room for the square tube to slip into the mounting brackets. Also the 2 brackets that hold the round roller tube should not be overtightened or it will deform the square tube so the mounting brackets won't fit.
