The Awntech Chicago is a fixed elongated dome-shaped door and window awning that is patented, modular, DIY, and hand-crafted. The framework is made out of a beautiful commercial-grade mill finish aluminum that will not rust. The hardware is stainless steel and provides additional support to the durable frame. The awning fabric is woven out of the Beauty-Mark branded 100% acrylic fabric and has resistant coatings to help (1) maintain its rich color while being exposed to harsh UV rays, (2) prevent mildew and soil buildup, and (3) maintain a water resistant barrier allows for rain to roll off of the awning and not soak through the fabric. The performance of the awning is durable and can withstand harsh winds and heavy snow. Awntech guarantees quality and ensures that these stationary awnings have a long-lasting design and structure.
