Rotopax RX-PM; Standard Pack Mount 4X2.5X1-inch

The whole Rotopax system is such a well thought-out and well executed solution for carrying auxiliary fuel and water on a motorcycle, and especially so with the Tusk pannnier racks that come pre-designed for this mount. It’s downright elegant. I have the basic version of this mount and the one with the extra Tee-handle which supposedly snugs the securing Tee in place. I had read in a review that the extra securing Tee didn’t really add anything of practical value to the arrangement, and i would have to concur with him. It doesnt lock the Tee down like a double nut arrangement (as I thought), so what’s the point? The one Tee does the trick, and you can choose how snug to tighten it. Go with this basic simple version and save the weight unless you want the security of the locking one. -m-2018 KTM 1090 Adventure R--

Purchased this and the RotopaX 1.75 gal can. Will be using it on an up coming Death Valley trip. Like others have mentioned wish it would have came with a back plate but oh well. Cant think of a better option for extra fuel. It looks and feels well built easy to mount and look forward to using it. Mounted it to the top box on my KLR hopefully the backing plate is big enough. The option to stack multiple cans is a plus, if its fuel or water you have the option.
