This is a great little tool. And it really is a tool. Just like the shovel, hedge clippers,sheers, loppers etc., this is a tool. It is a necessary tool when working in the garden, and allows a person to get down close to the ground to do an array of gardening chores that otherwise could not be done as well or at all by someone with or without health issues. And the design allows for just the right leverage to be able to push yourself back up and onto your feet with the greatest of ease. With this great little Yard Butler Garden Kneeler and Seat I can get up and down with not problems at all. Clipping the lawn around my flower garden is no longer the chore it use to be. My back use to give me fits having to bend over for long periods of time to trim the roses. That is no more a problem. I simply turn the Yard Butler Garden Kneeler and Seat over and it is a marvelous little seat that is just the right height to do the job. It is extremely well built and strong. And folds up in a snap for storage. Thank you Yard Butler.

Works!
Both knees replaced, peripheral neuropathy, pushing 70 yo, hate to exercise, love to garden. It works. I can kneel on it for a fair amount of time w/o my metal knees feeling too weird, and it is a good height for my arms to help me up, I'm 5'7". Had my doubts about the later, but no problem. Sitting works too, on uneven ground one can use one's own legs to rock into a position and hold it. Sturdy but light enough to carry around easily. Price is a bit high, but worth it.
