Excellent product!

This is a wonderful manual pump. I had an electric that quit working properly so I looked into one of these. I was sceptical at first of a manual because I have not had good luck with them in the past. I knew Medela was one of the best, so I went ahead and bought it. It is amazing. It works better than my electric one did. I can get more milk in half the time that it took with the electric. I was worried at first about the suction of a manual because they normally are not strong enough. This one is perfect. I would reccommend this to anyone in need.

LOVE IT

I initially had trouble breastfeeding. My little one took her time learning to latch properly, and had quite the appetite. After meeting with a lactation consultant we got the latch down but my production still wasn't on par with her consumption. She gave me this pump to help stimulate production between feedings. It worked like a dream. I still use this pump to express for storage, I've tried others both manual and electric and I always come back to this one. I've found that I express more milk faster, and more comfortably, with this than any other pump I've tried. I also love that medela makes bottles that you can pump, store, and serve all from the same bottle.

best manual pump

This is a wonderful pump!. It is incredibly easy to use, comfortable, easy to take apart for cleaning. I have used it for a little over two months now, 4-6 times a day and I have not had to replace the little piece yet. It is durable, I've dropped it on my floor a few times and cracked the head, it still works like a champ! NO SPILL of my milk either (unless you hold it upside down) I am so very happy with this product! I also love that the head/ handle can swivel, it allows me to pump much more comfortably. This Product is a bit more expensive than some of the others however rest assured it's money well spent, this is great quality, I'm eager to purchase their electric pump when I return to work! Here are some helpful tips: Use the top part of your pump! What that top part does is stimulates your breasts to allow let down. Once you see your milk in the neck you can switch to the main handle and pump away, you'll be filling it in no time! Also remember to drink water, I noticed when I increased my water intake I was able to get a lot more out.
