Boat part number 8301253 is a new incandescent rope light from Sof-Touch, part number SFT12-TCS2 . Commonly used on Lund Boats, part number 2005855 , but may be used on other boats.
This rope light is constructed out of flexible silicone. It measures approximately 2' L overall and illuminates warm white. It connects via (2) raw wire leads and is rated for 12V. Features a red-booted push-button On/Off switch.
