This is such a nice shoe for a child. There is plenty of room in the toe box for toes to move around without being squished. There is nice elastic padding in the heel to secure the shoe from slipping. The Velcro closure provides for great adjustability. The fabric is partially mesh and allows for air flow which here in the hot south is needed. The sole provides great traction to protect from slipping. They appear to be able to withstand washing in the washer and air drying. Great easy on, easy off option for a child.
