Wanted to get this cord to plug it into an outlet and then plug in a lighting device into it. The device does not have an on and off switch. So you have to plug it into the wall to turn it on and then unplug to turn if off, now that we have this cord, we have keep it plugged in and use the on/off switch on it. It is wonderful and works very well. Seems well made. The shipping was excellent, even coming from far away. :-)
