Great line

The previous comment... Sounds like you didnt spool your reel correctly. Make sure the line isn't spooling on backwards, because that is exactly what will happen. Great line. Super tough! Have had it spooled on my revo for 2 years now and haven't had to replace. Buying another 12 lb to spool on my back up reel. Highly recommend. Ps. Make sure to spool line on correctly or you will have the problem the previous reviewer had with any type of line.

The best!

This F/C line is the best out there for baitcasting reels! I don't even use steel leaders when I pike fish. It casts great and is the toughest stuff on the market. But if you try it on a spinning reel you will not even get to fish.

I bought Vicious 17# flourocarbon based on price over my usual Spiderwire. Vicious is an appropriate name for this product. It has the consistency of baling wire. I could not even get it to spool onto my Curado 300E without birdsnets! It just wants to spring right off the spool and will not stay put. Once it's on the spool it springs off the spool and snarls everywhere. I gave up in frustration and stripped all the line off and chucked it in the trash where it belongs. Truth is you truly do get what you pay for! Save yourself some money and grief and buy something that is proven to work.
