A&E Cage 32"x22" - 3 Level Animal Cage with Removable Base-Material:Metal

I purchased this for a chinchilla. Other cages had solid floors, but this one appeared to have mesh floors. For cleanliness purposes, I've been looking for mesh. The floors are actually the same as the sides (narrow bars with half inch spacing, like the exterior of a bird cage). It honestly appears they took a bird cage and added two floors. This would make it terrible for birds because the levels are only 11 to 12 inches high. On Walmart.com it was advertised as being for small animals. The floors would make it impossible for animals with small feet to walk without altering the floors by covering them. With the low ceiling height and 1/2 inch gaps in the floor, I have no idea what type of animal this cage would be good for (and I own rabbits, a chinchilla, and parakeets).
