The MAX replaces the BTH-550-ZU and RADIO versions because the new upgraded processor lets us combine both versions into one unit. Now the MAX version can be used on most phone and tablet based PTT Apps., on ICOM, Kenwood, EFJ and BK radios that have the built-in Bluetooth feature, and on all PrymeBLU Mobile and Portable radio adapters. At the same time as all of these possible applications the BTH-550-MAX can also be used to place and receive normal phone calls! Meeting IP56 for Dust and Water resistance the BTH-550-MAX is a real workhorse.
