Bad drain pump

Unfortunately I am also having issues with the hotpoint dishwasher drain pump. Loud buzzing and water will not drain. The pump is extremely expensive. I might as well buy a new dishwasher. Very disappointed.

Terrible quality. Do not buy

I have this unit for some time now. Last year I replaced this part and to my surprise is now broken again. At this rate the maintenance of this product is more expensive than the product itself. Terrible purchase. Please lower the value of these parts or make better quality products.

HORRIBLE-DO NOT BUY

Moved in one year and 6 months into our new home. We noticed water did not drain after a wash, after checking every possible troubleshooting option thinking it must've been clogged. Turns out the pump gave out, our machine is practically brand new with no debris or clogged lines and the pump is $40 less than a brand new dishwasher. Looks like I'll be shopping for a new dishwasher that is not from GE
