Instructions
Using a menstrual cup can be a little difficult at first, so be patient. You must practice a little how to insert and remove it, but once you improve your technique, it is very easy and comfortable. The menstrual cup should be emptied at least every 12 hours. We recommend that it is emptied, washed and rinsed a minimum 2-4 times daily. Once you learn its best use and your flow you'll soon know how often it should be emptied. Wear a sanitary pad at the beginning to prevent leaks. At the end of your cycle, thoroughly wash, rinse and dry GENIAL DAY cup completely. Remember to thoroughly wash the suction holes. Store it in the cotton bag provided. You can use the cup at night or during any sports, or while in the water. You don't need to remove the cup to urinate or for bowel movements. If you travel, use drinking water for washing.

Best first time experience!
Best first time experience! They were comfortable, and there were NO leaks. Definitely more hygienic than tampons and pads. If this is your first time using menstrual cups, I highly suggest looking up tips on how to care and use them online. There are various folding methods and positions that make it easier. What worked for me: Inserting: Wetting the cup w/ water, flattening and then folding it like a taco.Relax your muscles! Keep the cup folded as you insert it. I inserted it with the folded side down. Position used: leg up on the counter/laundry hamper. If the cup was inserted too high, I squatted and then pushed it down with my muscles until it felt comfortable. (think Kegel exercised)

DO NOT BUY!!!
I have used other brands before and inserting a menstrual cup can be difficult for the first time but once you get it down, it takes about 30 seconds. I bought this product based on some great reviews saying it was similar to diva cup. (Lies) I looked past the negative reviews and they are actually right! I used this for two cycles and I could not do it again. I had to throw it away. The material of these cups are very thin and do not open inside you. It's very flimsy and will take you 10 min to insert and ensure it's properly inserted and MAYBE it will open. It's super frustrating and I had to switch to tampons because it was NOT worth the stress. I will go back to my original brand which is Lena.

Stick with what you know!
I usually use the diva cup.. but because it fell in the toilet..I needed a replacement and after reading all the reviews I purchased this one. What am I doing wrong? It doesn't seal and very difficult to get in.. Also want to add not very comfortable.
