The unit comes with a clear PVC lid and a detachable filter basket for easy monitoring and cleaning, working seamlessly with a 19" sand filter (sold separately) to trap debris. For versatile installation, it includes two 1-1/2 inch and two 1-1/4 inch NPT threaded interfaces to fit different hose sizes.
