The Assurance WeatherReady2 is Goodyear's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for drivers of compact cars, passenger sedans, and crossover SUVs looking for the smooth and quiet ride of a premium touring tire combined with the year-round confidence that comes from driving a vehicle equipped with all-weather tires, having met industry severe snow service requirements and qualifying for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol. The Assurance WeatherReady2's internals make use of two layers of polyester plies surrounded by twin steel belts for the right blend of strength, rigidity and straight-line tracking. A polyamide cap completes the package, providing additional stability at highway speeds. Goodyear offers a 60,000-mile treadwear warranty with this model.
