Havahart Collapsible Large 1-Door Animal Trap

The product is a bit Flimsy for my taste.....The floor should at least be more comfortable for the animal while it is trapped! I think a big enough cat can break out because it is very cheaply made1 I think it will do the job for a kitten or small cat but still an uncomfortable stay for the animal needs a better floor not small holes that hurt if cat is in there for over a day! Yes i recommend for a quick trap for a small kitten or rabbit but not to be kept in over 2 or 3 hrs. Not recommend for large cats

Not a good trap at all. First it only has one door. You need to reach in and set the bait and them set the trap. If it's too close to the plate it won't trap. It's not sturdy and has sharp edges. For a little more you can order a Tru Catch trap online. They are well made and have two doors. Instead of snapping shut the door drops. They have a baked on finish making them smooth and resistant to rust. I do TNVR for feral cats and these traps are what pretty much evert trapper i know uses. If you accidentally catch a wild animal, tipping the trap on its side opens the door and sets the animal free without you having to open it. As a vet tech these traps are much easier to get the cats out of and returned after surgery. Better for cats and for the people who care for them
