This is actually a 66cc motor. 38mm stroke, 47mm bore. I did a complete tear down of this motor prior to running it. I understand these cheap kits have problems that need addressed before running them. At least if you want them to be reliable.. Here's what I found. Pros: No stripped bolts Clean internally (paint fell off the head gasket area when I took the head off) Internally is well oiled and greased. Paint looks decent gaskets feel nice Instructions are done well with pictures One of the better kits I've used Aftermarket cylinder head Cons: 66cc. Not even close to the advertised 100 1 crank bearing will not turn without extreme force. This may wear in, but it wont be reliable. This will be replaced. The cylinder has excessive casting flaws. This hinder performance, but not operation. This will be ported Crankshaft had 0.004 of run out and needs to be trued No head gasket - Cylinder has a 2.5mm squish gap(large!). No head gasket was present. The top of the cylinder is painted where a gasket should be. Information: Transfer port timing: 105 degrees Exhaust port timing: 147 A 2 mm spacer brings this to 121 transfers and 160 exhaust. 3.8mm can be removed from the top of the cylinder at this point. This will bring squish down to around 0.7mm. This will be a strong motor at this point. This kit was purchased simply due to me having a Walmart gift card Other than the crank bearing, this motor would be fine to use as is.
