Hotel Style 1200 Thread Count Cotton Rich 6-Piece Sheet Set, Blue Linen, King

I'm more “Joe Average”, who buys items by price versus quality. In the past I've only purchased sheets that were 100% cotton, because of they're the most available. Higher tread counts, like 400 per square inch appeared to be the nicest. I'm not all into that talk of “sensitivity, super softness, Egyptian cotton, and luxury Bamboo fibers” that I feel are marketing hype and overpriced. Cotton is supposed to be softer to the skin, but can stain more easily, wrinkle more, and shrink. Polyester is stronger, resist stains, but be somewhat hotter to sleep on. Sheets are actually fairly thin, very few us sleep with just a sheet for covering. We have a mattress topper, then some blanket, or cover for warmth and feeling mentally “secure” being covered. Many sleep with pajamas or other body coverings, and many of us like the natural feel of LESS covering, so we feel the sheets. I prefer less covering, and have heat and air-conditioning. Most of the time we spend is sleeping. I washed these sheets first because the plastic wrapper smelled funny. They came out feeling softer, with fewer wrinkles, and smelled great. The fitted sheet had a top and bottom tag for easy placement, and had plenty of room. They fit a 16 inch bed, but mine is thinner. Everything went on looking crisp. The set comes with 4 CASES, which is nice. The cotton poly blend is 55% cotton/47% polyester, and 1200 thread count. It's an extremely smooth crisper feel, much nicer than 100% cotton. Our skin can flake, and seems to sink more into cotton only. I'm enclosing some photos to compare my 100% cotton sheet to this cotton polyester show in a per square inch pictures. Honestly I will never buy a set of 100% cotton sheets again. These at 1200 thread count I would DEFINITELY recommend to everyone. They are a limited time offer.
