Mainstays Kitchen storage 106OZ Clear Glass Lock Lid Jar

Feels like a good quality glass with a great air tight silicone seal. The only thing I dislike is the seam is super noticeable on one side, but not noticeable enough to be picked up with my camera. I bought this to hold cereal in my humid apartment, because cereal won't last long outside of an airtight container in my apartment, and as my things go out, I've chosen to replace them with more sustainable materials than plastic and this looked good. Two weeks later and my cereal is as crunchy as the day I opened it. I'll probably be purchasing more of these as my current containers crack/break.

I am in love with this glass jar! It is quite large and well made. When it arrived I was very pleased with the packaging and that my jar arrived in one piece. Although it isn’t too heavy it is easy to hold, and the glass is very thick assuring me that it would be hard to crack or break. It measures 9 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches and holds up to 106 ounces. The top opening is almost 4 inches wide and the top latches down well. The rubber gasket on the lid is really thick and works really great at keeping foods fresh. It is easy to open/close, and to remove the wire connector for washing and then to reattach it. It has a classic design making it great for leaving out on my counter, and because of its shape it would be easy to store in my pantry. Its perfect to use for lots of different food items; beans, rice, cookies, cereal, flour, and sugar, but I am using it to store my coffee since the lid is so airtight I know it will be kept fresher for an extended period of time. I will definitely be purchasing more of these.
