This Pomade was recommended to me by a barber after asking what they had that wasn't oily and didn't LOOK like a hair product was in my hair. He put a bit in my hair and I was sold. He was selling it for $19, so I passed at the time hoping to find it cheaper (I did, at Walmart). This is the first such hair styling product I have used in 20 years and I am extremely happy I discovered it. All those nasty gel-like hair products are just not for good people - or good for people. I HATE the gel look. It's terrible, believe me, you know better than me, look it up... This is a matte cream that feels dry in my hands and hair. Not squishy, jelly or gooey and clear. It's a white cream of which you only have to use the most minute amount to get the desired results. Put a dab on a couple fingers and run it through your hair. You can also keep styling all day. It is such that you don't get that "wet" gel look, which is why you could keep playing with your hair throughout the day. You're not ruining the way it looks. It's a bit pricy but it's really the best - and you don't have to use a lot at a time, so it lasts quite a while. It smells awesome. It feels awesome and you don't look like you're an idiot trying too hard.
