These mesh shorts do exactly what they need to for our kiddo! They look great and fit perfectly for him. He refers to these as his “cool basketball shorts”. My son just turned four so we ordered him 4T and the waist fits nicely. He has room to grow and you still have the flexibility with the draws strings. The length is perfect. They don't hinder him running around and are not short or restricting for an active toddler. The pockets are great addition so he can place whatever random toy or Coyne in there as he gets through the day. Overall, they look and fit wonderfully and are a great value, considering the price. Grab them in every color!

I purchased these shorts in every color that was in stock for my 4 year old son. Multiple pairs of mesh shorts in this Texas heat are a must, and these have been perfect. For the price, the quality, fit, and appearance are better than expected! Our little one is very active and in basketball and soccer. He has been able to use these shorts and has not complained one bit. Anytime he puts them on, he feels the need to run around outside or do something physical! The waistband does not bother him they do not fall down and you still have the flexibility to tighten them with the drawstring if needed. Having pockets is also a huge plus because he loves to put random toys and take things with him through out the day. These are awesome shorts and I would recommend grabbing them in every color that you can find whether it's for an active kiddo or around the house lounging.
