Pacifica Island Art uses an environmentally-friendly Unryu Japanese rice paper made by the Awagami Factory in Tokushima, Japan. Unryu, which translates to 'cloud dragon paper' in Japanese, features long strands of kozo fiber and is made from natural mulberry and hemp fibers using traditional Japanese Washi techniques - ABOUT THE ARTIST - Michel Bélignod - Michel Beligond (1927-1973) An artist and car designer, he is known for his many promotional posters of the 24 hours of Le Mans and some F1 Grand Prix (the one of France 1965 in Rouen in particular), besides he imagined from 1968 the curves of the future Alpine, replacing the berlinette, the A310 .
